The Following Youth Development Programs Are Currently Open For Enrollment:

Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Program

This program aims to foster emotional awareness and self-management skills leading to success in relationships and greater overall well-being. Students learn healthy ways to deal with their personal situations. EQ also benefits students academically because they will be more emotionally and mentally available to learn. Emotional Intelligence affects health, learning, behavior & relationships.

Money Matters Program

This program teaches children how to make good financial decisions, learn principles of the banking system and most important how to save! The lessons children learn in this program will be beneficial for them in the long run and give them the confidence to look for the best plan for their resources. Learning these skills at a young age is a great opportunity, one that will be greatly appreciated by parents and students alike.

Media Awareness Program

Children and young adults are better consumers of media messages and are able to make informed choices about their lifestyle when they learn how to critically evaluate the media messages they receive on a daily basis. When Media Literacy Principles become integrated into their skill repertoire it affects their attitude towards consumerism and helps them chose a healthier way of life.

Study Skills Program

The study skills program provides information in a structured format for children who could benefit from coaching in specific skills related to the learning process. These skills can benefit students whether they are preparing for a standardized test, getting ready for a class quiz, aiming to improve their grades or looking for tips to get organized. The tips for taking specific kinds of tests, including true/false, essay, and multiple choice are extremely useful to children in all grades.
